Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Bharat Restaurant OS, operated by Pitale Robotics in partnership with Rowido LLP ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects information when you use our platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — restaurant name, your name, email, phone number and the password/PIN you set when you register or invite staff.
- Operational data — menu, tables, orders, kitchen tickets, inventory, suppliers, payments and reports you create while running your restaurant on the Service.
- Customer information you enter — such as a customer's name or phone number captured for billing, order updates or loyalty.
- Technical data — device and tablet pairing details, IP address, log data and basic usage information needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Service for your restaurant.
- To process orders, billing and payments and to generate your reports and GST documents.
- To authenticate users, pair devices and keep accounts secure.
- To provide support, communicate service-related notices, and improve the product.
3. Whose Data It Is
The operational and customer data you enter belongs to you. We act as a processor of that data on your behalf and only use it to run the Service. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from your own customers before entering their details (for example, a phone number for order updates).
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your data. We may share information only with:
- Service providers who host or support our infrastructure, under confidentiality obligations.
- Payment and integration partners (for example UPI or aggregator platforms) strictly as needed to provide a feature you use.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the Service.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on servers we operate (currently hosted in connection with the frezymo.info domain) with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and authentication safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your device pairings under your control.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will make reasonable efforts to let you export your data and will delete or anonymise data we no longer need, except where retention is required by law (for example tax records).
7. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses cookies, local storage and session storage to keep you signed in, remember your table/outlet context during ordering, and operate core features. These are essential to the Service; disabling them may prevent it from working correctly.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may export your operational data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
9. Children
The Service is intended for restaurant businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
